The American Drug Enforcement Agency which captured the world's most-wanted drug lord, El Chapo, Joaquin Guzman is playing a huge part in the hunt for the Kinahans.
The Agency has officers on the ground in Dubai based at their consular office in the Emirates and they have been watching the cartel around the clock.
But the Americans are also putting pressure on the Dubai authorities to have Christy Kinahan, Christy Kinahan Jnr and Daniel Kinahan all extradited to the United States to face drug-trafficking charges.

The Irish Government is being regularly updated on the whole Kinahan operation by regular briefings at its embassies in Abu Dhabi and Washington.
Garda Liaison Officers in both countries are working hand-in-hand with the Americans and, more specifically, the DEA.
A senior Garda source said: "Our officers are in touch with the Americans almost on a daily basis and there are regular briefings between both sides.
"We all have one aim - to destroy the Kinahan crime cartel and to put each and every one of their ringleaders behind bars whether that is in the United States or Ireland.
"The DEA has huge budgets and resources. They are taking the lead on the ground and have substantial resources in the United Arab Emirates. They have a complete handle on everything the Kinahans are doing.
"The Cartel is finding it increasingly difficult to operate, they can no longer move around the world, are under pressure for money and are sitting like cornered rats in Dubai.
"The arrest of Liam Byrne last weekend shows that if they leave Dubai at all, they are in real danger of being captured."
The Americans have already put up a €5 million reward for information leading to the arrest of any of the three Kinahan family members.
The Gardai are convinced it is only a matter of time before all three are arrested and put behind bars.
The source added: "When a drug lord has the DEA on their case, then mark my word they are in serious trouble. No stone will be left unturned until they are caught."
The Americans believe the Kinahans shipped millions of dollars of drugs into the United States and were also laundering money there.
The DEA chased El Chapo for over three decades but eventually got him.
He is now being detained at a maximum security prison in the United States and will never see freedom in his lifetime again.
