Aged care bed funding boost, but 'more needed'

Older Australians struggling to find aged care accommodation amid spiralling demand should have more options under a $115 million funding package, but advocates say much more is needed.

The boost in federal government investment through the Aged Care Capital Assistance Program aims to bolster aged care beds in hotspots in NSW, South Australia and Western Australia, amid warnings of a coming crisis.
