Age NI chief concerned over Lisburn and Castlereagh new bin size collection system

Lisburn Castlereagh NI LCCC Castlereagh City Council

Concerns have been raised over a proposed new bin collection system which may impact on elderly people's independence.

Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council announced at a special council this week that this year's upcoming waste and recycling budget would reach almost £14million.

Part of that cost is due to the roll out of a new bin collection system, with details so far being unavailable.
