Anthony Albanese has called a Thursday meeting of national cabinet to address the fuel supply crisis as his government prepares new measures to help shield households from the economic fallout of the war in Iran.

Albanese later confirmed no ADF personnel were injured when an Iranian projectile hit near Australia’s headquarters at the Al Minhad airbase in the UAE, damaging some facilities. And Iran has vowed revenge on Israel after an airstrike killed Ali Larijani, Tehran’s influential security chief.
