After week one, Joel Klatt gives us his new top 10

Well, week one is almost over in college football and most of the major players have already taken the field. Teams like Alabama, Michigan, Oklahoma, and USC rolled over lesser opponents. And Georgia… well the defending national champions look like they are picking up right where they left off with a dominating performance over No. 11 Oregon.

Of course, Ohio State got a win over a better-than-advertised Notre Dame team. Even though the Irish were ranked No. 5 in the nation, you would’ve been hard-pressed to find many that felt like they had much of a chance in Columbus. Overall it was a good win for OSU even if it wasn’t the dominant showing most were expecting.

So where does Fox analyst Joel Klatt see the Buckeyes after the win over Notre Dame? Still high, just not as high as before. Klatt has moved Georgia up to No. 2 and dropped Ohio State to No. 3. And I really can’t blame him after what the Bulldogs did to the Ducks. Check out his new top 10 below.

Klatt did move Notre Dame down to No. 9 in his rankings which seems like a big drop after the Irish gave a good showing in Columbus. Even though Clemson hasn’t played yet, Klatt kept them at No. 4. They should roll past Georgia Tech which won’t change much on this list.

It’s a nice start to the season for the Bucks, but there is clearly still room to grow if this team truly has national championship aspirations.
