Civil society organisations have urged British officials to boycott events hosted by a right-wing Hindu national group during the visit of its leader Mohan Bhagwat this week.

Twenty organisations have written to mayor Sadiq Khan urging the Greater London Authority not to provide a venue for an event organised by the RSS, the ideological parent of India’s ruling BJP party.
