Ryan Christie has been challenged to score more goals by Bournemouth manager Marco Rose after his first hat-trick in seven years.
The Scotland star netted three goals as his side cruised to a 4-0 win in the League Cup against Lincoln City. It was the first time he'd bagged a hat-trick since August 2019, when he scored three for Celtic in a 7-0 victory over St Johnstone.
Christie has only scored eight league goals for Bournemouth in 164 appearances since his move there five years ago.

And Rose reckons Christie can get on the scoresheet more often. He said: "It's time for Ryan to start scoring more goals. I mean, he's 31, and once we have started to work together, he suddenly scores more goals! Sounds good to me.
"We are happy for him. He had an injury, came back, and is now in a good spot, in good shape. And that's important for us. I think Ryan always had that scoring ability inside him... he just hid it!
"And now I think now it's time to rumble for him."
