It's one of the most famous properties in the world: a sprawling mansion sat on 120 acres and the very legacy of the King of Rock 'n' Roll. Fans travel hundreds of miles to catch a glimpse, with some even choosing to wed its very own chapel.
His only daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, was the sole owner of Elvis' Memphis Estate, which he bought in 1957 for $100,000. Following his death in 1977, the home was opened up to tourists five years later, but continued to remain a family home as the Presleys gathered at the property for special celebrations.
Yet after Lisa's tragic death on January 12 2023, aged just 54, the question remains as to who will inherit Graceland.
She famously received £100million in inheritance in 1993 on her 25th birthday from her father, which she completely spent and was left in $16million debt by 2016.
Her fourth husband, Michael Lockwood, lost his bid in 2016 to undo their prenup as part of their divorce. However, he reopened the case in 2021 and demanded that she pay him $4,600-a-month in child support that was ordered by a court. The case has not been settled.
Graceland held both happy and devastating memories for Lisa.
She was just nine years old when she discovered her father's dead body at the home on August 16 1977.
Lisa previously recalled last seeing her father alive when he kissed her goodnight at the home.
In the early hours of the morning, Elvis was found by his girlfriend, Ginger Alden, lying unconscious on the floor next to the toilet. Lisa remembered seeing her dad as Ginger attempted to rouse him, prompting her to call Elvis' ex-girlfriend, Linda Thompson, for help.
Lisa recalled saying: "My daddy’s dead! He’s smothered in the carpet!"
Despite the tragedy, Lisa had fond memories of her childhood at the home, including family Christmasses where she was lavished with gifts from her parents.
Lisa became the sole heir of Graceland after initially inheriting it jointly with her grandfather Vernon and great-grandmother Minnie Mae, who died in 1979 and 1980.
It is expected that the home will be passed down to her three surviving children - Hollywood star Riley Keough, 33, and her 14-year-old twin daughters Harper Vivienne and Finley.
Tragically, her only son Benjamin died by suicide in July 2020, aged just 27.
