After LG VK Saxena’s directive, Municipal Corporation of Delhi shuffles officers

NEW DELHI: Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has initiated transfers and postings of officials in different departments as per the new rotational transfer policy and in keeping with the directions issued by the LG office recently for not allowing officials to stay in a department for too long.

Over 85 executive, assistant and junior engineers from engineering and electrical departments were transferred/promoted last week. The transfer and postings have been made in public interest and for administrative convenience, stated MCD.
