MUMBAI: The CBI on Friday questioned Chitra Ramakrishna, former CEO-MD of National Stock Exchange (NSE) at her house in Chembur. The Income Tax (I-T) team were also present in her house examining documents when CBI questioned her separately in her apartment.
The CBI had issued look out circulars (LoC) against Chitra Ramakrishna, former chairman of NSE Ravi Narain and Group operating officer Anand Subramanian, preventing them from leaving the country. The LoC has been issued on the basis of a corruption case that the CBI had registered in May 2018 against unknown officers/officials of NSE and SEBI (Securities And Exchange Board of India).
