A disabled veteran has waited eight years for a $1 million settlement from the Air Force

Correction, Sept. 21, 2022: An earlier version of a headline on this article said David P. Bighia was illegally fired by the Air Force. The Air Force did not fire him, officials rescinded a job offer.
