After billions of people around the world tuned in to 63 games over one month, the curtain is set to come down on the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.
As expected, a lavish closing ceremony will follow.
Here's when it's happening, how to watch it and who will be performing.
When is the World Cup closing ceremony?
The FIFA World Cup closing ceremony will take place on Sunday, December 18, the day of the tournament’s final game.
Rather than being the event that concludes proceedings in Qatar, the closing ceremony will take place before the final game is played.
What time does it start?
It will begin at 12am AEDT Monday December 19 for New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and the ACT.
That's 11pm (AEST) Sunday, December 18 for our Queensland readers, 11:30pm in South Australia but 10:30pm in the Northern Territory, and 9pm in WA.
FIFA said the closing ceremony would be just 15 minutes.
For reference, the opening ceremony lasted around 30 minutes.
Where is it being held?
The Lusail Stadium in Doha, which has a capacity of 80,000 and is Qatar’s biggest football stadium, will host the closing ceremony.
December 18 also marks Qatar National Day, so we can expect fireworks displays and various parades.
How do I watch it?
The closing ceremony will be shown live on SBS TV and SBS On Demand.
For the opening ceremony, the BBC opted not to show live coverage of it on TV but instead, streamed it via BBC iPlayer.
This is expected to be the case with the closing ceremony.
Who will be performing?
FIFA has kept quiet about the closing ceremony's performers to build up excitement.
But a few major international names have been confirmed.
Nora Fatehi, an actor, model, singer, and dancer will be the first celebrity to represent India on the FIFA world stage.
Nigerian-American musician Davido will headline the event with his performance of Hayya Hayya (Better Together), one of the songs featured in this year's World Cup soundtrack.
Puerto Rican singer Ozuna and Congolese-French rapper Gims have also been confirmed to perform at the closing ceremony.
Jennifer Lopez and Shakira will also reportedly feature in a music video for this year's World Cup finale.
Wait, who's playing in the final again?
Argentina will meet France in the World Cup final.
France is the reigning world champion, having beaten Croatia 4-2 in Russia four years ago.
As such, France is looking to become just the third team to win back-to-back finals after Italy (1934 and 1938) and Brazil (1958 and 1962).
Argentina is the reigning South American champion, having won the 2021 Copa América with a 1-0 victory over Brazil at the Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro.
