Africa Oye takes place in Liverpool’s Sefton Park this weekend, with a huge line up for the 30th anniversary of the festival.
Following a two-year break due to the pandemic, Africa Oye is back with a bang to celebrate the music and culture of Africa. Sefton Park will play host to live music, DJs, dance, workshops, food stalls, traders and more across the two-day festival.
Among those performing is Grammy Award-winning Oumou Sangaré, rapper Fuse ODG and reggae musician Eek-A-Mouse. Africa Oye originally launched as a series of gigs in Liverpool in 1992, before becoming one of the city's most popular events.
