Afghan sprinter Kimia Yousofi, currently based in Australia, has been chosen to compete in the women's 100-meter sprint at the upcoming Paris Olympics. This will mark her third appearance at the Olympic Games, having previously represented Afghanistan.
Yousofi, who has been residing in Australia since 2022, expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to once again represent her homeland and the women who have been deprived of basic rights, including education. She highlighted the challenges faced by women in Afghanistan and the importance of advocating for their rights.
