A London-born steakhouse chain is plotting a move to the north. Flat Iron has put in a licence application for a unit on Deansgate.
The application is for the premises formerly occupied by the Blacks outdoor supplies shop at 200 - 204 Deansgate. It’s requesting a 1am licence for live and recorded music, and for alcohol sales, with a 1.30am closing time.
Though not approved yet, the consultation for the licence goes on until mid-May. Founded by Charlie Carroll in 2012, the restaurants aim to make ‘remarkable steak available to everyone’, with affordable prices.
