Aerial Operations Resume To Combat Palisades Fire After Wind Delay

Aerial operations to combat the Palisades Fire have resumed after being temporarily suspended due to extreme wind conditions. Mayor Karen Bass tweeted on Wednesday that firefighters have regained air support to help fight the flames.

The firefighters faced challenges as they lost much of their air support due to the high winds. Initially, all aircraft were grounded on Wednesday as wind speeds exceeded 80 mph, making it unsafe for aerial operations to continue.
