Aer Lingus has issued direct advice to its customers flying from Dublin Airport this weekend.

The airport has said they are "confident" that no one will miss flights this weekend following last week's chaos.

Aer Lingus has given its customers flying from Dublin the following checklist to follow this weekend:

Arrival times

Aer Lingus has told passengers to arrive at the airport 2.5 hours before for a European flight and 3.5 hours before for transatlantic travel.

Online check-in

The airline also asked passengers to check in online before arriving at the airport using their app or on aerlingus.com.

Those who have already checked in and have their boarding passes should immediately make their way to one of Aer Lingus' 38 Express Bag-Drop kiosks, and avoid the check-in queue.

Drop bags off evening before

They have also reminded passengers flying between 05:30-08:00 that they can check in their bags the evening before between 16:00 and 19:45 at one of their Express Bag-Drop kiosks.

USA and Portugal requirements

Anyone flying to Portugal or the USA is required to upload the necessary travel documentation to VeriFLY, the travel pass app, and complete all the tasks before they can check in online or use the bag drop kiosks.

Be prepared for security

Aer Lingus also asked passengers to be prepare their cabin baggage for security screening and to keep a close eye on the departures board to ensure they arrive at the boarding gate in good time.
