The Game of Thrones franchise can’t stop expanding. The Targaryen prequel series House of the Dragon just wrapped up its third and penultimate season, and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, the smaller-scale “midquel” series set between the other two shows, has one season in the books, too. There’s also the Game of Thrones prequel play, The Mad King, which takes place only a handful of years before the original series, if you want to get a little more high-brow.
