Waiting times for a first appointment at adult gender clinics in England are projected to reach 15 years unless there are improvements made, a review has found.
Services for adults seeking gender care were “falling down” with long waits, inconsistent assessments and a lack of data, Dr David Levy said as he described the picture when he began his report last year.
