She was picked up from the streets with an enormous tumour hanging off her leg - but has become a 'completely different dog' since its removal.
Stray dog Chloe was given a second chance at life by Every Life Counts Rescue, who work to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome Romania's unwanted animals.
Their team arranged for a vet to remove Chloe's 2kg tumour before starting her months-long rehabilitation plan, which aimed to improve her chances of being adopted after she regained her full health.
A spokeswoman said: "Chloe needed a very expensive and complicated operation in order to have the tumour removed.

"But her recovery process also required a lot of treatment, weekly visits at the veterinary clinic and a lot of care."
Although it is unknown how long Chloe had been living with the growth on her lower leg, it doesn't seem to have caused her any other health issues.
Following her treatment, the rescue, who rely on public donations to carry out their work, incurred a costly vet bill, and have been reminding people that "rescue is not easy and is not cheap".
She added: "Rescuing a dog like Chloe means an enormous vet bill for the rescue - and this is for just one dog.
"We don’t have just one dog at the rescue - we have a full shelter to look after. We have 60 cats at the rescue as well and we also have approximately 50 puppies in paid foster care.
"Just feeding the whole shelter daily costs a small fortune. We have enormous bills to pay and this is because we do the things right.
"We don’t just take the dogs from the street, put them in a kennel and that’s it. We like to think that we do rescue in the right way and this involves enormous amounts of money. It’s frustrating and sad that rescue depends on money.
"We are very grateful to everyone that donates to support our rescue, we are very grateful to all our supporters. But the reality is that things are really hard, and the last months have been incredibly hard. Financially we struggle."
Thanks to Every Life Counts Rescue's commitment, Chloe has now secured a home in the UK, where she has finally been shown what it is to be loved.
The friendly dog is said to have settled into her new home and has been able to let her quirky personality to shine through.
"She has a loving family, she has been given a new life," she added. "This is what we do here at Every Life Counts Rescue - for us, every single life does count."
