An Edinburgh student has shared how she has finally landed her dream job after a "difficult" start to life.
Jade Lindsay was one of 2,000 of Edinburgh Napier students who were handed their degrees this week, with families and friends gathering at the Usher Hall to watch. However, the day was even more special for Jade, who after being adopted at the age of three, was the first in her family to achieve a university degree.
Becoming part of a new family as a toddler, Jade shared how she had grown up with a strong work ethic, but had her childhood dream of becoming a vet dashed after her higher results didn't meet the entry requirements. Pushing on, the Edinburgh student decided to rethink her career path, and after completing a course with My World of Work, began a new focus on business and HR.
