Adele has opened up on what life will look like for her now she has finished her highly-acclaimed Las Vegas residency.
The Someone Like You hit-maker, 36, launched Weekends With Adele at Caesars Palace in November 2022 and performed her 100th show on Saturday.
In July, the London-born star, who now calls Los Angeles her home, said she would be taking a “big break” from music after her current run of shows.
Once the big moment finally came however, Adele found herself quite emotional and admitted to the crowd she didn't have any plans, according to The Sun, saying: “I'm not doing anything else.
“I'm actually sing myself about what I'm going to do. I don't have any f***ing plans.”
She added: “I guess I'll just day-drink.:
Adele also addressed speculation that she would be retiring by explaining that she wasn't sure when she would next release new music or tour.
She said: “I just dunno when I want to next come on stage. And it's time to move on.
“It's time for the next chapter and it's time for the next season of my life.”
This next “season” involves quality time with her loved ones, including her sports agent fiancé Rich Paul and her 12-year-old son Angelo, whom she shares with ex-husband Simon Konecki.
Of her only child, she said: “To my son, I chose to do a residency mainly because I f*****g hate touring, but I chose to do a residency so I could keep his life normal.
“I did do that. But I also wouldn’t change it for the world.
“But I get to be with him on the weekends now because obviously you can’t always come.”
Adele further explained that her intention with the residency - which has reportedly seen her pocket £100m thanks to ticket sales and merchandise - was to “fall in love with performing again” after being “freaked out” by her last stadium tour.
“It took me a long time to kind of wrap my head around it,” she elaborated.
Adding: “So this felt perfect and is the bookend to this story”.
