Adele has set about the mammoth task of renovating the $58million (£47million) mansion she purchased from Sylvester Stallone.
The 35-year-old singer bought the huge property more than a year ago and moved in with her fiancé Rich Paul, but new pictures show it is currently just a shell of a building.
Adele bought the eight-bedroom home with a massive $37.7million (£30.4million) mortgage and a building permit was filed with the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety last June for an "alteration/repair".
The permit is for "interior non-structural remodel to existing SFD [single family dwelling]. No added floor area or change to building footprint. No change to exterior of structure."
The new snaps show Adele has now set about ripping up the home.
Construction workers have set up a porta cabin as their temporary base while completing the renovation works, which seem to have only just started.
There seems to be just one part of Sylvester's former home which has been left untouched, as a statue of his famous character Rocky punching the sky remains at one end of the pool area.
It's the same iconic pose of the actor at the top of the steps of the Philadelphia Art Museum.
Sylvester's former property was full of Rambo and Rocky references when it went on the market, but it seems Adele wasn't a fan.
The property had been on the market for around a year before being snapped up by Adele and her beau.
The listing had stated: "The timeless design of the living room is pretty much insane; paintings on the wall have a fireplace, billiards, unique big graffiti art with the name of Rambo, comfy couches with a dramatic view from the outside.
"You may notice a lot of Rambo memorabilia on the wall in the area.
"In a few steps, the memorabilia room and office are excellent there's a big and tall Rambo statue, cabinet with Rambo figures, Trophies, different sculptures, and paintings.
"Watching the natural beauty of nature while swimming in an infinity pool with Rocky Balboa Sculpture will never miss out."
The sprawling property is 18,587 square feet and offers 12 bathrooms on a staggering 3.5 acres.
It also has the advantages of seclusion and privacy, nestled at the end of a private driveway and flanked by rolling hills and trees.
Prior to Adele's changes, the home featured arched French doors in the living room.
An outdoor terrace offered a large swimming pool with a paved seating area providing ample space to relax.
The home also has a gym, a professional theatre, a large chef's kitchen and even a cigar room.
