Adele 'forks out millions' renovating £46million Beverley Hills 'forever home'

Adele is reportedly yet to move into her £46million Beverley Hills home despite buying it two years ago with her partner Rich Paul.

The singer has expanded the 18,587 square-foot mansion, which features eight bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, by adding a five-car garage.

According to The Sun, her team is installing a “cool roof” to meet the stringent requirements for properties in a “very high” Fire Hazard Severity Zone.

A source said: “When Adele bought the house she didn’t intend to change too much. But she has a team of Hollywood experts on board who suggested the extra floor.

“The house will be absolutely gigantic by the time it’s done. But it is looking incredible and she thinks it’s worthwhile.

“She wants it to be her forever home with her son Angelo and partner Rich Paul, and she dreams of extending her family there.”

One feature of the home that remains untouched is the swimming pool, which includes Sylvester Stallone's iconic statue of his boxing character, Rocky.

Before acquiring Stallone's former mansion in January 2022, the Tottenham-born singer already owned three properties in the star-studded Beverly Hills neighborhood.

Last December, the British pop superstar revealed the reason why she won’t move back to the UK

The London-born singer, 35, has lived in Los Angeles since 2016.

Despite now being worth in the region of £146 million, Adele has said she still won’t relocate back to her home country - naming the great British weather as a major reason behind wanting to stay put.

Adele told The Hollywood Reporter: “I get really bad seasonal depression, so the weather is good for me. It is strange sometimes, because I’m very British.

“Because it’s a bit harder for me to go out nowadays, what I love the most about LA is everyone goes to each other’s houses. I like that.”

Adele has previously told British Vogue that she bought three properties in Beverley Hills rather than splashing out in her home city London as she could afford more in America.

“The kind of house I have in LA I could never afford in London. Ever,” the singer said.

Adele said the comparable houses in the UK would have cost “hundreds of millions of pounds. I don't have that much money at all. I'd throw up”.
