Adele 'cancelled shows as relationship with Rich Paul is on the rocks'

Adele cancelled her Las Vegas residency as her relationship with Rich Paul is "on the rocks", according to reports.

The Hello singer cried to her fans as she announced her exclusive shows would not be going ahead as "it ain't ready".

But now an insider says Adele stopped rehearsals to make important calls to her boyfriend and was also seen breaking down in tears.

The source told New York Daily News: "There's trouble in paradise. That's why she can't perform."

The sports star started dating the songstress in early 2021, but the pair went official on Instagram in September.

It's Adele's first public relationship since she divorced husband Simon Konecki.

Despite the rumours, other reports claim Adele has moved in with her boyfriend and the pair have been holed up at his £10million Beverly Hills mansion since she postponed her Las Vegas residency.

A neighbour told the Sunday People : "There’s been a lot of coming and going at the house in the last few days.

"I heard Adele has been staying there since Friday [January 21]. There’s security there which I’ve never seen before. They’ve hunkered down.

"It’s unusual Adele has been there for so long, because she has her own houses a few miles away in a private estate."

It comes after Adele "pulled out of her scheduled BRIT Awards performance next month".

She had initially told event organisers she would perform at London's O2 Arena.

But now, BRIT bosses are said to be "scrambling to find alternative arrangements" for the annual awards show on February 8.

A source told The Sun: "Adele was confirmed to perform on the night, but has now pulled out — which has been a massive blow for the organisers.

"They are talking to her team to see if she can appear by videolink.

"It's a massive headache but they want her involved in any way she will agree."

The source added how show bosses are also now having to find someone to accept Adele's awards on behalf of her, should she win.

The Mirror has contacted Adele's representative for a comment.
