Adelaide will host the 2024 Super Netball grand final with Netball Australia continuing its controversial move to sell hosting rights for the competition decider.
Ahead of this year's grand final on Saturday in Melbourne between the Adelaide Thunderbirds and NSW Swifts, NA announced the South Australian government was the winning bid.
It's the third year the league has locked in the grand final venue, with Perth hosting the pinnacle game in 2022, with the injection from the successful tender a boost for cash-strapped organisation.
Players and fans were initially upset that the top team wasn't rewarded with a home venue.
The 2024 final will be played at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre with the Thunderbirds shifting home games there next season.
NA said the South Australian government was making immediate plans to rejuvenate the Netball SA Stadium.
The Thunderbirds' ageing home has been heavily criticised this Super season.
In March a match had to be abandoned due to an unsafe court surface and major power outage.
