Adani Energy acquires 100% stake in Vizag Power Transmission for Andhra Pradesh project

Vizag Andhra Pradesh AESL Hydrogen

Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) on Friday said it has executed a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) with REC Power Development and Consultancy Ltd (RECPDCL) to acquire 100% equity shares of Vizag Power Transmission Ltd (VPTL).

The agreement was executed on August 14, 2026, at around 12:30 p.m. IST, AESL said in a stock exchange filing.
