Adani Defence & Aerospace on Sunday laid the foundation stone for what it described as South Asia's largest private-sector missile ecosystem at Shivpuri in Madhya Pradesh, marking a major expansion of the conglomerate's defence manufacturing ambitions under the Centre's Aatmanirbhar Bharat programme.
The foundation stone for the facility was laid in the presence of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, state Energy Minister Pradyumna Singh Tomar and senior government officials.
