Adam Thomas said he would love to return to his role as Adam Barton in Emmerdale.
The actor joined Lorraine this morning to discuss his most recent acting venture in the revival of BBC's Waterloo Road. Adam reprised his role as Donte Charles on the drama but admitted he would also be eager to return to Emmerdale if given the opportunity.
The 34-year-old gushed that he made friends for life and the feeling of family was one of the aspects missed most from being a part of the soap.

He said: "They're just incredible you genuinely do become such a huge family and I do miss them all so much." Lorraine then pushed him on whether or not he would make a comeback if the door was still open which garnered a positive response.
He added: "Never say never. I would love to go back. If the story is right then definitely. It's always held such a special place in my heart."
Adam left the show back in 2018 in order to venture out into new roles. He said at the time: "I've had an amazing eight years working on Emmerdale and I've loved every minute of it.
"It was a really tough decision to take to leave but I felt that now is the time to move on and challenge myself with some new roles."
