Adam Scott's new role on the PGA Tour Player Advisory Council [PAC] alongside Rory Mcilroy has been labelled a "colossal waste of time" by former star Paul Azinger.
Scott's name was heavily linked with a move to LIV Golf due to his Australian connections with CEO Greg Norman. His compatriots Marc Leishmann and Matt Jones have all made the Saudi switch, as well as Open champion Cameron Smith. One man who has not joined the Australian exodus is Scott though.
Instead the 2013 Masters champion's loyalty to LIV's main rival has been awarded, having been appointed on the Tour's 16-man council.
