Adam Schiff Projected To Advance In California Senate Primary

In the California Senate primary, Democrat Adam Schiff is projected to advance to the general election in November. California follows a top two primary system, where the top two candidates with the most votes move on to the general election ballot. Schiff is expected to secure a spot on the ballot for November 5th.

Currently, Republican Steve Garvey is leading the race for the second spot, with nearly 29% of the vote. Incumbent Congresswoman Katie Porter is trailing behind in third place. Garvey is running on a moderate platform, focusing on protecting reproductive rights and advocating for programs to support the unhoused population.
