Luke Williams expects both Adam Chicksen and Macaulay Langstaff to feature in their two fixtures against Oldham over the Christmas period.
The pair were forced off during the Magpies' most recent National League fixture against Gateshead, with many fearing the worst ahead of a congested fixture list during January.
In a statement released by the club shortly after that match at Meadow Lane, they predicted both players would feature for Williams' side in the near future, with the Notts boss able to provide an update ahead of their clash with the Latics this Monday.

"I certainly think both players will be involved in the two games in one way or another," explained Williams.
"We're in a good place with both of those guys, they are both on the grass now so depending on how good of a shape they are, really tomorrow will determine how much they feature and what games they feature in over this period."
One player who will not be featuring over the festive period, however, is Leicester City loanee Brad Young.
The 20-year-old was on the end of two challenges with Connor Hall in Notts' 2-1 victory over Chorley in the FA Trophy on Tuesday evening, with the club confirming that third-choice 'keeper Tiernan Brooks had been recalled from his loan with Hednesford Town to provide cover for Sam Slocombe.
While the extent of injury remains unknown, Williams was able to detail the action that caused Young the discomfort felt following the challenge.
"It was the scenario when he came out the box to try and clear the ball and caught a boot on the foot," Williams said.
"There was a lot of swelling that has come down, but there is still a lot of swelling around the ankle joint, so we're more clear on that it is not something too serious, but we still have a way to go until we know exactly how long the recovery will take."
