Robert Logan, known for his roles in the iconic TV show '77 Sunset Strip' and the 'Wilderness Family' movie series, has passed away at the age of 82. He died on May 6 in Estero, Florida, due to natural causes.

Logan rose to fame as J.R. Hale, the valet parking attendant turned private investigator on '77 Sunset Strip,' appearing in 50 episodes during the show's final two seasons. He then went on to star in the popular 'Wilderness Family' films, portraying Skip Robinson, a father seeking a simpler life in the Rocky Mountains.

Born in Brooklyn in 1941, Logan's acting career took off after being discovered by a talent scout from Warner Bros. He appeared in various TV shows and films, including 'Maverick,' 'Surfside 6,' and 'Daniel Boone.'

Logan's diverse career also included roles in European productions and a brief stint as a secret agent in the pilot episode of 'A Man Called Sloane.'

After retiring from acting in the late 1980s, Logan focused on filming documentaries. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Alina, his son Anthony, daughter Courtney, daughter-in-law Hayley, granddaughters Elsa, Ingrid, and Alma, as well as siblings Logan, Theresa, Janet, and Timothy.

Those wishing to honor Logan's memory can make donations to the Notre Dame Club of Miami.
