Actor Matt Ford has become the first American with a monkeypox infection to go public on social media. Through Twitter and TikTok, Ford has been sharing his experience of the disease and creating awareness to not take it for granted and get vaccinated timely.
On June 17, Ford contacted it from a friend who had monkeypox. In a recent interview with Self magazine, he has talked in detail about the painful symptoms he experienced.
