Activision should ditch the Call of Duty movie and bring back its absurd celeb fest where Will Arnett went on a quest to find his own junk

With the news that Call of Duty, of all things, is getting adapted into a movie by the director of Battleship—and it's unfortunately set in the Modern Warfare universe—I got vivid flashbacks to the series' last attempt in multimedia.

Back in 2011, Activision decided it was time to change how it would support Call of Duty games post-launch. Modern Warfare 3 (the first one) saw the introduction of Call of Duty Elite, a subscription service that included monthly content like new maps, as well as social network tools.
