Fawn, Rhino and Phoenix were this year's The Masked Singer finalists after weeks of ITV viewers being left stunned as the latest celebrity hiding their identity was unveiled – with Rhino crowned the competition winner.
The final saw the finalists perform songs to the panel of guessers before their indentities were finally revealed after weeks of guessing
Rita Ora, Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan and Jonathan Ross were joined by comedian Lee Mack on the evening's guessing panel.
Fawn's odds of winning the competition were slashed hours before the grand final and they were priced at 1/3 entering the show on Saturday while Rhino trailed behind with odds of 7/2 and Phoenix was the rank outsider at 8/1.
However, Rhino was crowned the champion and was therefore the final star to be unmasked. But, who was behind the masks in the action-packed finale? We take a look...
FAWN
The Masked Singer viewers were convinced Fawn was All Saints Star Natalie Appleton and they were right.
Fawn came third in the tense final and was unveiled as the pop band's singer.
Despite fans' certainty of Fawn's identity, none of the panel correctly guessed Natalie was hiding behind the mask.
Fawn's clues included "black coffee", "Sandy" and the woodland creature admitting to feeling "awkward" when they were younger.
The mystery singer's riddle was: "I live in a cottage and not in a palace. I visited Wonderland but my name’s not Alice."
After Fawn’s second performance, they shared two clues, one of which was false, and the other was true. The first read: "Let me tell you what I herd, they’re saying you might know me from the movies," and the second was: "They’re saying to take care moving around the festival, don’t want to break a leg."
During the week where the songs performed by the characters were in themselves a clue, Fawn chose Alanis Morissette's Ironic.
RHINO
The Masked Singer viewers were left divided over Rhino's true identity throughout the competition – as some thought the singer was Charlie Simpson while others were convinced it was James Arthur.
But, it turned out Charlie Simpson was the talent behind the mask.
Some of the clues included American actors Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn appearing on wanted posters in a possible nod to their film Wedding Crashers.
This horned beast has said they’re in a "hurry to get somewhere on occasion" and boasted: "I’m chief of this town and happy-go-lucky but one of you guys might think I’m quite muggy."
Rhino has also referred to themselves as the "old one out" and claimed: "A rhino out of its climate is a very fishy thing to see."
PHOENIX
Phoenix narrowly missed out on the top spot and left the panel shocked when it was revealed his true identity was Ricky Wilson.
Davina McCall has predicted Phoenix was David Tennant for a few weeks and joked she was "disappointed" he wasn't the Doctor Who star.
Ricky agreed: "I'm disappointed I'm not David Tennant too!"
Jonathan teased Rita for not guessing Ricky as they worked together on The Voice.
In their first appearance, Phoenix teased: "Well hi. How do you do? Phoenix! Pleasure. I am rather hot aren't I? But we all know the legend, the phoenix. The bird of fire. Rising from the ashes blind.
"Of course I'm familiar with reincarnation. It's a mystery, but I know how to follow a trail. However, a phoenix chick? They're quiet. They go unnoticed. Then they burst into flames and set the world on fire. Well tonight I'm spreading my wings. Watch me light up the stage."
Other clues include Phoenix claiming they're good at "following a trail" while inspecting footprints with a magnifying glass.
Last week, Jacket Potato was revealed to be Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora while Jellyfish was former Glee star and West End star Amber Riley.
Elsewhere in the series, comedian Daisy May Cooper was hiding behind Otter, Steps star Claire Richards was Knitting and Ghost turned out to be football pundit Chris Kamara.
Pop icon Lulu has been masquerading as a Piece of Cake and Martin and Shirlie Kemp as Cat & Mouse.
