ACT reports 821 new COVID-19 cases

The ACT has recorded 821 cases of COVID-19 in the latest reporting period. (AAP)

COVID-19 infections in the ACT have remained relatively stable, with 821 new cases recorded in the past 24 hours.

Of the cases reported on Thursday, 456 came from PCR tests and 365 were from positive rapid antigen tests.

Hospitalisations in Canberra are also unchanged from the previous day.

There are 37 patients in hospital, including two in intensive care and one on ventilation.

The ACT's booster rate has inched closer to 70 per cent for those over 16 with a third dose, with the uptake now standing at 69.9 per cent.

Figures also show 79 per cent of children between five and 11 have had their first vaccine dose.
