HYDERABAD: Director general of police (DGP) M Mahendar Reddy on Saturday suspended deputy superintendent of police (DSP) Balakrishna Reddy for alleged dereliction of duty.
The suspended officer was the assistant commissioner of police (ACP), Ibrahimpatnam, when the sensational double murder of realtors took place at Karnamguda on March 1 and he investigated the case.
Realtors N Srinivasa Reddy, 43, and K Raghavender Reddy, 41, were shot dead at a real estate venture on March 1 and police had arrested six persons, including main accused M Matta Reddy, also a realtor.
