Accused machete attacker admits injuring man on first day of attempted murder trial

A man accused of severing another man's fingers during a machete attack has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge on what was meant to be the first day of his attempted murder trial.

On Thursday, October 8, Zachery Norton was set to face a weeks-long jury trial in the ACT Supreme Court after previously pleading not guilty to attempted murder.
