ACB arrests revenue official for accepting Rs 1.5 lakh bribe in Jammu

JAMMU: A revenue officer presently posted at Gharota in Jammu district was arrested by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths for demanding Rs 25-lakh bribe and accepting Rs 1.50 lakh from the complainant, officials said on Friday.

The ACB spokesperson said, "A complaint was received against Ashok Sharma, naib tehsildar and his associates for demanding a bribe of Rs 25 lakh for issuing fard document(land record)."
