Academy Sports Earnings Perspective: Return On Capital Employed

According to Benzinga Pro data Academy Sports (NASDAQ:ASO) posted a 12.11% decrease in earnings from Q3. Sales, however, increased by 13.5% over the previous quarter to $1.81 billion. Despite the increase in sales this quarter, the decrease in earnings may suggest Academy Sports is not utilizing their capital as effectively as possible. In Q3, Academy Sports earned $161.31 million and total sales reached $1.59 billion.
