AC Milan’s Christian Pulisic Inundated With Death Threats After Heated Serie A Win

AC Milan’s Christian Pulisic received a torrent of threats on social media after his team earned a controversial 1–0 victory over Lazio on Friday.

Unhappy fans were specifically upset with Pulisic, as he was involved in altercations with three Lazio players who were sent off with red cards in the final minutes of regulation.

A lot of the on-field drama happened when Pulisic pushed Luca Pellegrini, which resulted in the Lazio defender shoving the AC Milan midfielder to the ground. Pellegrini was sent off in the 67th minute.

Another incident occurred with Lazio midfielder Matteo Guendouzi, who pushed Pulisic down after the American was holding onto him. Lazio finished the match with eight players as Adam Marusic also was red carded during stoppage time.

Pulisic, a standout on the USMNT, posted on Instagram following the match, and the post subsequently was flooded with death threats as a result of what occurred during Friday’s match.
