Abundant Life Christian School, a small private school with approximately 420 students enrolled from kindergarten to 12th grade, has implemented a series of security protocols to ensure the safety of its students and staff.
While the school does not have metal detectors on its premises, Barbara Wiers, the director of elementary and school relations, emphasized that they have various safety measures in place. Wiers mentioned that the school conducts visual scans of every student as they enter the building each morning. Additionally, there are cameras installed in the hallways that are regularly monitored from the office.
