'Absolute bargain of a deal' - Mum's £95 Butlins holiday goes viral

A mum's bargain holiday has gone viral after she shared her budget break.

With cash-strapped families struggling to make ends meet, a holiday will be off the cards for many this year.

But one mum shared how she's managed to get a four-night holiday at Butlins for just £95.

Sharing it in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook, she said: "4 nights at Butlins, featuring Peppa Pig, Thomas and PJ Masks, from £549 to £95, absolute bargain of a deal!!! going to have one happy little boy next week."

Thousands of parents commented, with many asking how she managed to find such a cheap deal.

But she didn't have any promo code, or voucher, it was simply a last minute Showtime Midweek break booked through the Butlins website - and it's cheaper because it's during term time.

Many were shocked by the price. "How do you guys get it this cheap! I never find any bargains!" said one.

"How do people find these deals???" asked another. "My little boy would love to go on holiday but I just can't afford it."

One mum said she had booked a break to the Bognor Regis Butlins costing £700 with dining, while another said she'd priced up for a week for next May half term and it was £2,400.

But others said they'd seen similar deals during off-peak periods, including in October this year and at the beginning of next year as dates for 2023 breaks have now been released.

The company is advertising breaks from as little as £59, based on a family of four sharing.

Prices include accommodation, all live shows and headline acts, access to pools and water slides, unlimited rides on the fairground, outdoor playgrounds and more.

Butlins resorts are in Minehead, Bognor Regis and Skegness, the latter of which is set to open a brand new attraction, SKYPARK, in 2023.

This 'world of colour and light' will offer a play experience during the day and at sunset, giving little ones the chance to 'play in the sky, day and night'.

The attraction will includes six zones, a 14-metre tower with panoramic views, a 10-metre slide and the UK's longest seesaw.

Designed to be truly inclusive, it will allow children of all ages and abilities to play together and will be opening in Skegness for Easter 2023. The playground will be free to access and included in the price of the holiday.
