About 25,073 Aitjunz eight-drawer dressers are being recalled because they can tip over and trap or crush young children, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced Sept. 24. The agency said the dressers violate the federal stability standard required under the STURDY Act. They were sold on Amazon, Wayfair, Temu, and Walmart from May 2025 through July 2026 for $230 to $270.
The CPSC has received one report of a dresser tipping over. No injuries have been reported. The fix is free: Owners can request a retrofit kit containing counterweight blocks. In the meantime, the agency says any recalled dresser that is not anchored to a wall should be taken out of use and placed where children cannot reach it.
