Lewis Ferguson of Hamilton is a doubt for Scotland tonight in their Nations League League B opener against Armenia.
The Aberdeen midfielder was part of the squad that painfully lost 3-1 to Ukraine in World Cup play-off semi-final action last Wednesday.
They'll look to put that behind them tonight as they begin to embark upon their Euro 2024 qualification path, the same one that granted them a shot at reaching Euro 2020 last summer.
Ferguson may not feature, with the Aberdeen man from Lanarkshire not training ahead of the Hampden contest.
It would be one less option to use for head coach Steve Clarke and trips to Armenia and Republic of Ireland are still to come this month. Putting World Cup blues behind them is still firmly on the agenda.
He said: "When you've played at the top level of professional football you know that the disappointments are big disappointments and the fact we've not had one for a while makes it hurt even more.
"But that games gone, we have to move on and we have to start our next unbeaten run against Armenia at Hampden.
"As a nation we realise that the UEFA Nations League gave us a chance for entry for Euro 2020."
