Aberdeen have received no offers as of yet for star player Bojan Miovski.
Their chief executive, Alan Burrows, insists the Pittodrie side will demand a high price point for the prolific striker, but up until this point in the transfer window, no bidding clubs have come forward.
The North Macedonia has been linked with a host of clubs after two full seasons for fine goalscoring form in the north east. These include Bologna and Feyenoord.
Miovski scored 26 goals last term in what was otherwise a disappointing campaign for the Reds.
Ahead of the team’s warm-weather training camp in Portugal this week, Burrows addressed speculation surrounding the player’s future. He simply said: “No offers. We’ve had nothing.”
Contract talks with the 25-year-old have stalled after it initially looked promising that the forward would agree to new terms.
Burrows insists Aberdeen are under no pressure to sell their top asset, though.
“We have already said that Bojan has done really well and will court a lot of interest,” the former Motherwell CEO added. “We would love Bojan to stay here for as long as he can because he is a fantastic striker. We also understand there is a lot of interest in him. That might make it difficult to try and keep him for an extended period of time, given that he still has two years left.
“Market forces and our model means more attractive offers might come in the fullness of time. We have to make sure whether it is Duk, Bojan or Connor Barron we are trying to maximise our values for Aberdeen football club. That is what we will be looking to do in this and future windows.”
Aberdeen will take on Peterhead in a pre-season friendly next midweek ahead of their League Cup group stage campaign.
They begin the Scottish Premiership season away at McDiarmid Park on Monday, August 5.
