Former Rangers target Jose Cordoba has signed for Championship side Norwich City.
The Panamanian defender was targeted by Philippe Clement and Nils Koppen as a talented left-sided option to bolster the Ibrox backline.
But the Ibrox club withdrew their £3m offer and moved on to other options amid strong interest from the EFL club who are understood to have offered Bulgarian side Levski Sofia a more attractive transfer fee.
We have agreed to sign Panamanian defender José Córdoba from Levski Sofia. The transfer is subject to international clearance and approval by The FA and EFL when the transfer window opens on Friday, June 14.

The 12 times capped star felt it was a move he was compelled to make.
He said: "I see Norwich is like a family, and I was looking for something like that. The idea of the club and the feeling went directly to me and I felt that I had to make this choice."
