With Aaron Rodgers likely heading to the New York Jets, the speculation was growing that some of his buddies would be joining him. In fact, there was a report Tuesday from ESPN that Rodgers had given the Jets a wishlist of free agents to pursue, including Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb, Marcedes Lewis and Odell Beckham.
Rodgers told Pat McAfee Wednesday that report report was “ridiculous”.
“That’s not the reality,” Rodgers said. “It’s so stupid to think I would do that.”
He even went as far as to say he told ESPN’s Adam Schefter to “lose my number.”
Schefter even confirmed the report, tweeting a photo of the text message.

Rodgers did praise some of his former teammates in Green Bay and also Beckham.
Aaron Rodgers: "Who wouldn't want Odell on their team? I don't have demands. My only demand is for transparency. If you say some bullshit…"

So while the Jets may get some of those players —they’ve already landed Lazard — it won’t be because of any wishlist.
