Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been identified as a potential vice presidential candidate by Robert Kennedy Jr. However, recent revelations have surfaced regarding Rodgers' espousal of conspiracy theories, particularly concerning the tragic 2012 Sandy Hook shooting.
It has been reported that Rodgers shared unfounded claims with individuals, including journalist Pamela Brown, alleging that the Sandy Hook shooting was a hoax orchestrated by the government. This event, which resulted in the loss of twenty children and six adults, is a well-documented tragedy.
During an encounter with Brown at the Kentucky Derby in 2013, Rodgers criticized the media for allegedly concealing important information and proceeded to propagate baseless theories about the Sandy Hook incident. When pressed for evidence, Rodgers reportedly resorted to discredited narratives, such as the existence of 'men in black' near the school.
Another source, opting to remain anonymous, recounted a similar exchange with Rodgers, where the quarterback purportedly claimed that the Sandy Hook victims were fabricated and that grieving parents were complicit in a grand deception.
When approached for comment, Rodgers declined to address the allegations. Meanwhile, Kennedy disclosed that he had engaged in discussions with Rodgers and former Governor Jesse Ventura regarding a potential vice presidential role in his campaign, with an announcement expected on March 26.
